Kirk Lesser

CEO

Kirk Lesser is the founder and visionary behind Renascence IT Consulting, Inc. From an early age, computers were always a part of his life; dating back to the days of the Apple II when he was a software reviewer and game tester. Since that time, he has served as everything from system administrator to IT business director for well-established firms and Fortune 500 companies throughout the Bay Area.

With more than 30 years of industry experience under his belt, Kirk took a leap of faith and left the corporate world in 2005 to try his hand at consulting. Today, RenIT as it is often referred to, is a reflection of his personal devotion to family and innovation.

He is a husband, father, runner, foodie and intellect; possessing a degree in Computer Science and a number of industry certifications. Even with the company’s continued growth, Kirk maintains a hands-on approach with his clients; while providing leadership, opportunity and compassion to the talented team sharing his same values.

Donny Lynskey

VP of Operations

Donny has had a passion for building and improving things since a young age. He’s always had a technical mind and enjoys getting hands-on to achieve his desired outcomes. Over the course of his nearly 30-year career, he has worked with a diverse range of technologies and industries, from satellite uplinks to commercial video distribution to Japanese art. Donny also founded his own successful technology company, which has allowed him to focus on process and team building. Now, he’s found a perfect place to continue this work at RenIT.

Outside of work, Donny stays active by building fast cars, competing in motorsports, and spending time outdoors. He also loves tabletop role-playing games and has a house in the woods outside Castle Rock, WA that he shares with his wife and their fostered rescue dogs.

Jamie Valens

Director of Marketing Operations

In her role, Jamie blends her business development background with a unique passion for all things creative. Outside of the professional sphere, Jamie’s love for music and art is evident in her hobby of concert photography, capturing the energy of live performances in every shot. Additionally, Jamie enjoys fire performing, an unusual but thrilling hobby that complements her boundless creative side.

In quieter times, Jamie enjoys doing DIY projects and gardening at home while being supervised by her two rather large Maine Coons, Klondike and Frankie.

William Dempsey

Senior Systems Administrator

William has been working with technology since the days when keyboards punched holes in cards to make the computer function. His skills have remained current and relevant throughout this period and he is excited to resolve modern issues as he continues to improve reliability and reduce risk. William has worked for companies large and small including non-profits while emphasizing excellent service and economic solutions for clients.

William enjoys working with technology but won’t be found in the back room in a bubble. He prefers to make technology operate properly and help people reach their goals. William focuses on ensuring that technology remains reliable, easy to use and effective. He is proud of his strong personal ethic that emphasizes integrity, respect and service.

Charlie Shisler

Systems Administrator

Charlie has been interested in technology and programming since an early age. He has worn many hats and worked with many types of technology during his 9 years as a field technician. He also enjoys programming and scripting and has been doing so for almost 20 years. He is an avid problem solver and loves to apply his skills towards automation and making life easier for his clients.

When Charlie is not working, he loves to work on coding projects and learn new technologies. He is also a sports enthusiast, with a particular interest in motor and combat sports.

Sean Rogers

Automated Systems Manager

Sean Rogers comes from a family of IT professionals. Computers and technology have always been a part of his life and they continue to be a source of guidance and inspiration, as he continues to gain knowledge in the IT field. To his credit, Sean holds a variety of IT certifications and continues to educate himself in various IT sectors. Sean excels at learning new technologies and prides himself on finding the most effective and efficient way to solve a problem.

Sean started with Renascence IT Consulting in 2015 as a Systems Administrator; helping customers implement technology to enhance their businesses is a major achievement for him. Leveraging his “process-focused” mind, he successfully transitioned to Automated Services Manager; ensuring both RenIT and each of its clients are all working smart and seamless. He enjoys the daily challenges of the job and loves digging into problems; taking pride in solving any and all challenges.

Sean is a father, golfer, outdoorsman and sports enthusiast.

Marquel McDowell

Systems Administrator

Marquel McDowell hails from the sunny shores of Naples, Florida, where he spent his formative years embracing the local culture, including the unique tradition of hurricane parties. These lively gatherings often involved transforming any available four by four vehicle into a mud-covered masterpiece, all in the spirit of revelry and camaraderie.

In his personal life, Marquel is a happily married animal lover who cherishes every moment with his two-year-old daughter. If given a free day, you’ll likely find him lounging poolside with a couple of cold beers in hand, indulging in his favorite Chinese cuisine, all while dreaming of his next adventure in Costa Rica. He joined the team in early 2024, and looks forward to being part of what makes Renascence IT so great!

Mike Schroeder

Help Desk Technician

From dial-up ISP tech whiz at the age of 16 followed by four years of service with the US Army at 18, Mike’s tech journey has been as diverse as the many places he’s called home. From the snowy wilderness of Alaska to rural Washington, Mike has lived in more places than most people could point out on a map. While some may dream of basking in warmth, Mike embraces the chill, with anything above 65°F being “too warm” for his taste. He’s like a penguin in a server room—right at home in cooler climates.

Born in SC, raised in Ohio, and diehard Bengals fan for as long as he can remember, Mike’s loyalty knows no bounds—just like his dedication to solving your tech troubles! When he’s not fixing tech glitches, you’ll find him immersed in virtual realms, slaying dragons or scoring epic wins. So, if you need a tech whiz or a gaming buddy, Mike is a rock solid companion.

Leveraging years of technical recruiting, he personally handpicked a select group of specialists proficient in Linux, customized web applications and databases, telephony and cross-platform devices, to ultimately bring your organization to the next level.

David Holy

Service Manager

David Holy is the Headmaster for our team; serving as a Project Manager, Lead Administrator and Service Manager simultaneously. His engineering education and experience, as well as 17 years working his way up through the ranks in IT responsibilities, make him a unique contributor to the team.

David enjoys working with clients to ease the stress of the technology that they depend on and strives to raise the bar so that businesses can get the most out of those technologies.
